Active Sport Group was launched in August 2019 by Dan and Louis. Both are thriving sports enthusiasts with a mission to enhance opportunities to the younger generation and to support them in achieving their potential. Dan and Louis have both been involved in the sports industry for the last 20 plus years. They have experienced amateur, semi-professional and professional levels in playing and coaching as well as gaining first-hand experience of a U.S college scholarship.

Here are a few words from Dan and Louis on why the company was set up:

'The opportunities ASG offer were hard to come by when we were teenagers. We would have loved the opportunity to travel abroad for football and tennis competitions when we were younger. As for college scholarships in the USA, there was a lack of awareness of the amazing opportunities and experiences on offer to athletes. This is the reason we have set this company up, to provide the opportunities and pathways for athletes. Many athletes get to a certain level in their career and get stuck as to where to go next, this is where we step in! We explain the different processes, opportunities and experiences available from a US College Scholarship and show that athletes do have another route to look too if they don't make the step into the professional game. Going down this route gives an athlete the chance to compete at the highest level they can whilst completing a degree at the same to use as a back-up plan.
We have a team of staff who have all been through the scholarship process and possess key knowledge of scholarships and college sport which can be hugely beneficial to athletes looking to gain a college scholarship.'

We specialise in many areas of the sports industry such as tailor-made tennis tours, football tours and clinics, US college scholarships and performance analysis. We are also very proud to offer our expertise in some of the best facilities around the world. With us being able to provide a variety of services in sport, this allows us to offer our services to a wider audience including those who are pushing onto the professional level, those competing at a semi-professional level and finally the athletes who play at an amateur level but looking for something different. After speaking with Joe from YP Academy, Active Sport Group knew this is an opportunity not to be missed. YP are all about putting their players first and create many opportunities to help players fulfil their dreams, which is what we are all about at Active Sport. With our support we can provide all players from YP Academy a pathway into the USA with a scholarship, if sadly they do not make it to the professional stage. Not only can we provide their players with scholarship services, we can offer them additional services to help with their development such as performance analysis, player highlight videos and also international tours/camps.
